REITS: Kania Advisors' Consistent Active Indexing outperforms active funds in 2017

Kania Advisors Global Real Estate CAI Index (CAI Index) generated Gross Total Return of 14.04% during 2017, first full year of live performance, compared to an average of 9.60% for comparable actively managed global real estate securities funds.

The CAI Index is a multi-factor index based on a proprietary methodology of Consistent Active Indexing and provides full alpha generating capacity throughout the entire opportunity set or benchmark. In addition, the CAI Index is developed based on factors specifically relevant to real estate markets and real estate securities markets rather than general equity market factors.

The CAI Index generated performance better than ca 93% of actively managed funds over the past calendar year and market leading performance over the past 3- and 5-years.

"We are pleased that our indices have delivered on our aim to provide better solutions for listed real estate allocations which demonstrably can also deliver better outcomes for investors." Witold Witkiewicz, Founder.
